This post brings us so many happy, fuzzy feelings because this wedding, this couple, these two people are perfection. Seriously, it can't get any better than Jessica and Jason. They are sweet, loving, gracious people that make all things love cool, and theirs is that wedding that everyone wants to be invited to because it will be amazing and beautiful and fun. It was all that and so much more. Jessica and Jason, yours is the love of fairytales and epic romantic films- the good ones that guys will see in the movie theater. We hope you love your sneak peek. Jessica and Jason Scripps College Engagement Session

We cannot wait to shoot this adorable couples' wedding because we had such an amazing time with them during the Engagement Session. Really, from our first meeting, we just clicked, had great conversation, and loved how well we all got along. Of course, this isn't about us... the soon to be bride and groom met us at Scripps College in Claremont, California-- perfectly adorned and ready to rock out an amazing session. The backdrop was definitely beautiful, but we could have shot this couple in a ditch somewhere in the middle of nowhere and it would have been just as fantastic. Jessica and Jason, we can't say enough wonderful things about the two of you and really cannot wait to gush over all the amazingness that will be your wedding! Sneak Peek: Yariel and Gabriela Say I Do

We are so excited to post this preview of the beautiful Gabriela and Yariel and are happy to see them enter into this new chapter of wedded bliss. We have had the honor to get to know these two since back when we shot their engagement session, and have a special place in our hearts for them. They are both thoughtful, kind, and genuine people who've inspired us in love and life. Their love has stood the test of space and time (12 years time), and they have only grown closer as a couple and as individuals. They encourage eachother to follow their own dreams, while celebrating in one another's victories; motivate each other to grow and be great; not finish eachother's sentences, but listen all the way to the last word and elaborate. These are the sort of people that will make a marriage magic and we can't wait to see what's in store for these two. This is supposed to be a sneak peek so I'll keep the gushing to a minimum. Yariel and Gabriela we thank you for trusting us with your magical memories and for being the kind of people we are lucky to call friends. So much more to come!

Irvine Engagement Session: Kristen and Randall

Kristen and Randall are match made in modern day heaven with a twist of old school charm and class. Kristen is a super creative, smart and all around gorgeous girl and Randall is a fun, easygoing, science minded smarty. Together they were so great to shoot and spend time with. Kristen had this idea to surprise Randall with a painting that she personally created during the shoot, which so was awesome to capture and be a part of. The session was such a good time that before we knew it, we had been hanging out past sunset! Kristen and Randall, thank you for including us in your engagement, for sitting in allergy-inducing brush, and having a blast while doing it, and for sharing your story with us!

Erika and Mike: A Walk in the Woods Engagement Session

We are so excited to share this engagement session brimming with light, love, and lots of laughter. It's the kind of session that leaves us feeling the little fluttering butterflies for photography and for each other. All thanks to the beautiful Erika and Mike who were just so in synch and so much fun. Oh, and "really, really good-looking," (Blue steel moments were had). We've decided that we have to come to terms with not ever being able to share sneak peeks since we become carried away and can't stop editing. How could we not when we get to shoot couples like these! Also, for a little extra icing on the cake... Erika is also a photographer who looks like a model, has awesome style and an uncanny ability to read our minds! Heavenly. Erika and Mike, thank you for trusting us with your story. Rebecca and Mike: Disneyland Engagement Session

So, when Rebecca and I discussed her Engagement session ideas she mentioned that she was a former cast member at Disneyland and that this was a special place for her and fiance Mike. Naturally we went with it as our location and then we discovered that she was Sleeping Beauty and that Mike proposed to her while working. That he did so, in this very elaborate, romantic sort of way, and we got to thinking that these two might just be made from the stuff of magical fairytales. Then we saw them. Yep, life size prince and princess. And you know how princes and princesses are also really kindhearted and happy, and uber romantic. They are all that and more, and it is not at all fiction. There love is the real deal and they are really, truly two of the sweetest people. We had an amazing time shooting their Engagement pics and we are so grateful to have given new eyes with which to view the magical land of Disney. Also, Rebecca has a wealth of facts and trivia about the park: from its most centerpoint to Walt's reasoning for some of the design/layout of the park. These are the types of things that we go home and google, and can't get enough of. From the very bottom of our hearts, we are so happy to have met you both and are so excited for this new chapter in your lives. We hope you enjoy your sneak peek, which is a little more of a peek than we thought, but there was just too much loveliness to pass up.

A First Look: Alycen and Lyle's Occidental College Wedding

This has to be one of the sweetest first looks that we have ever had the privilege of shooting so we had to post it as a sneak peek. We met Lyle and Alycen many months ago in a downtown L.A cafe. We loved how down-to-earth and relaxed they were and we were glad that they felt comfortable enough with us to choose us as their wedding photographers. Their wedding day was filled with that same kind of comfortable, down-to-earth happy vibe, but the love and care they shared was over the top. As we look over all their images, these elements are present and undeniable all throughout. Especially the first look. How sweet and genuine can you get? Alycen and Lyle, thank you for giving us the honor of capturing your beautiful wedding moments. You are the real deal!
